The surface structure of the skin is improved and cellulite is reduced
About 85% of the world's adult women suffer from cellulite (orange peel skin). Cellulite is an aspect of beauty and not a disease, but many women suffer from this beauty flaw. Cellulite is mainly caused by disorders of the skin matrix, with excess subcutaneous fat, bulging into the dermis, as well as excess interstitial fluid.

A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study involving 105 women aged 25 to 50 years showed a significant reduction in cellulite scores after daily intake of 2.5 g of VERISOL ® . Effects were measured after 3 and 6 months of supplementation. VERISOL ® has a positive effect on the intercellular matrix of the skin and restores the normal structure of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. VERISOL ® supplementation also reduced skin waviness, with first results visible after 3 months, but more pronounced after 6 months. A 2.5 g daily dose of VERISOL ® significantly reduced the appearance of cellulite in women with a BMI < 25.
The study looked at changes in skin density. Two ultrasound scans show the skin of a participant in the placebo group compared to the skin of a participant in the VERISOL ® group. An increase in elastin and collagen is clearly visible.
